“If you want to know what it’s like to survive hell and still come out shining brighter than the sun, just look into the eyes of a woman who has survived intense damage and refused to allow it to destroy her softness.”

ABOUT US
My name is Samira Kethu (left) and I am a rising junior at Greenhill School in Dallas, Texas. My sister, Sumana Kethu (right), is a rising sophomore at Greenhill School. Sumana and I founded this social entrepreneurship project in hopes to create change in global issues regarding abuse. Here at CARE, we’re committed to investing our resources in order to achieve our cause of ceasing abuse and raising equality. Instead of just raising money and donating it, we wanted to create value for the people who want to help us achieve our goal. To do this, we decided to sell handmade bracelets. 100% of the money we receive from selling the bracelets will go directly towards helping abused women and children. We want to support our community members in a variety of ways and measure our success not by monetary size, but by the scale and effectiveness of our efforts.
